Message Yes, there is a difference between no air flow without ducts and directed air flow with ducts. These can help direct cold air flow to the upper portions of aftermarket intercoolers as the area where the fog lights resides blocks direct air flow or you can route flex piping to the brakes.

Compiling data to show "metrics" on improvement to air flow and cooling properties is not nessasary as it is a simple differentiation of no air flow or little air flow vs purposely directed air flow to the top face of an intercooler which normally does not recieve a direct infusion of air. In simple terms, Yes, there will be and increased flow of cold air to the intercoolers/brakes (based on purpose chosen) and Yes, cooling effeciency will be increase do to this. There would be no adverse affects and can only yeild benefits.
